knowledge.Job DescriptionAbout the role:You will lead the
Plasma-related (Teardown & Fractionation) function to develop
future process and technologies. Drive implementation of innovative
technologies in Teardown and Fractionation to reduce operational
cost, enable our sustainability goals to become carbon neutral by
2040, improve process efficiency and increase Fractionation
throughput.You will support the Plasma sites in best practices
knowledge and problem solving, and lead implementation strategies
and risk assessments related to plasma VSA and FoF initiatives
between BioLife and GMS.This is a hybrid role that will report to
the Head Plasma Product Ops. & External Supply.How you will
contribute:
- Define the network strategy of projects deployment following
Plasma OpU objectives
- Define in collaboration with all the manufacturing sites the
Factories of the Future Strategy, with the aim to achieve the
capacity targets. Define, prioritize and lead the FoF strategy and
the global initiatives relevant to Teardown & Fractionation.
- Drive and support network capacity increase projects, including
manufacturing bottle neck cycle time reduction and variation
reduction initiatives.
- Provide leadership to assess network throughput impacts,
provide guidance and risk assessments related to network capacity,
processes, and systems.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities to add robotics,
automation, or improved Engineering design to improve Safety,
Quality/Compliance and Operational Efficiency.
- Lead Factory of the Future Blueprints Initiatives. Define and
implement in collaboration with all the manufacturing sites the
Factories of the Future Strategy, with the aim to achieve the
capacity targets.
- Lead cross-functional teams to drive FoF initiatives through
feasibility and execution stages. Define, prioritize and lead the
FoF strategy and the global initiatives relevant to Teardown &
Fractionation
- Perform competitive intelligence assessments.
- BioLife interface management; manage technical support for
organization ensuring optimized performance across both
organizations.
- Define strategy & implementation plan for interface of BioLife
to GMS to ensure E2E global alignment of plasma supply to expansion
programs. Support device implementation strategies
assessments.
- Co - Lead BioLife-GMS VSA Governance structure to ensure
coordination and management of VSA projects & initiatives are
aligned with BioLife & GMS strategic priorities to enable
successful execution. Works across GMS, PDT BU R&D, and site
representatives to align on vision and priorities for the whole
Plasma OpUWhat you bring to Takeda:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy, Chemical Engineering, Process
Engineering or equivalent required
- 15+ years of related experience in plasma with 10+ in a
management role
- Knowledge and experience of Bio-Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
Sciences, Engineering
- Knowledge and understanding of relevant regulations, plasma
collection and plasma fractionation required
- Experience defining the strategy and roadmap for complex,
cross-functional initiatives
- International background appreciated - must be fluent in

Base Salary Range:$169,400.00 - $266,200.00The estimated salary
range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual
base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including

education attained, certifications or other professional licenses
held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from
