Job Description:

Duties: Support company’s global LAN and WAN across 32 offices and 6 Data

Centers. Specifically, design, implement, and support LAN, WAN, end user

and development labs with network and voice systems, connectivity,

mobility, and availability of production and lab services including

collaboration tools. Document and test network and voice services in

support of the larger organization across a wide variety of technologies.

Perform maintenance and backup and assist in the development of new

initiatives. Design solutions supporting business processes. Monitor system

performance and analyze and resolve systemic issues. Initiate, design and

develop projects in network/voice focus area to improve service

quality/resiliency, lower costs and enhance efficiency; support project

implementations; perform network and voice services including scheduled

maintenance, monitoring, backup and support as well as support of Network

Engineers with complex issues; consult with end users on business

processes, and use technology to ensure optimal capabilities; and design

and implement QoS, Traffic Shaping, and PBR to enhance voice and video

quality.

Requirements: Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or

related field plus one year of experience performing WAN design and

administration in a multi-country environment OR a Bachelor’s degree in

Engineering, Computer Science, or related field plus three years of

experience performing WAN design and administration in a multi-country

environment OR no degree plus five years of experience performing WAN

design and administration in a multi-country environment. Also requires

demonstrated expertise: utilizing Cisco products to deploy VPNs, including:

2900, 3900, 4400, 7200, ASR1000 series routers; 2900, 3500, 6500 series

switches; 2k, 3k, 5k nexus switches; ASA 5500 and ASAv security appliances;

and 5500 and 2500 series wireless controllers; managing a geographically

dispersed, multi-country WAN using DMVPN, MPLS, site-to-site VPN secured by

IPsec utilizing dynamic routing protocols, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP; Layer2

protocols and security; FHRP Protocols; DHCP snooping, port security,

private VLANs, Storm Control; IOS zone-based firewall, ASA security rules,

traffic inspection and filtering; providing remote access VPN for

teleworkers utilizing Cisco SSL VPN and AnyConnect; utilizing Cisco iWAN,

PfR, PBR, VRF, QOS, and MPLS Technologies to address load sharing and

redundancy issues by employing dynamic routing protocols BGP, EIGRP, OSPF,

large-scale BGP topologies, confederations, route reflectors, and traffic

engineering; utilizing Windows Server, Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, AD

replication, NPS as a RADIUS to authenticate users from VPN, wireless

services and access authorization to network devices; utilizing VMware

ESXi, virtual machines networking, virtual switches, VM kernel ports for

network configuration; and utilizing Zabbix and PRTG to monitor network
