Role Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of
Finance to join our team. This role will be pivotal in building and
leading our Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) function,
providing critical financial insights to drive business decisions,
and contributing to the efficiency of our accounting operations.
The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader with a strong
analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proven
track record of success in a fast-paced environment. This position
will directly report to the CFO and manage one direct report.
Location: Morrisville, VT, or Hybrid
FP&A Leadership: - Establish and lead the FP&A function,
including the development of budgeting, forecasting, and long-range
planning processes. - Develop and maintain financial models to
support strategic initiatives and business decisions. - Analyze
financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable
insights to senior management. - Prepare and present monthly,
quarterly, and annual financial reports and presentations. -
Collaborate with department heads to develop and monitor
departmental budgets and KPIs. - Drive continuous improvement in
FP&A processes and reporting.
Accounting Support: - Assist the accounting team with the monthly
close process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. - Support the
preparation of monthly and quarterly financial statements and
related reporting. - Contribute to the development and
implementation of accounting policies and procedures. - Support
audits and other compliance activities.
Strategic Partnership: - Serve as a strategic partner to senior
management, providing financial expertise and guidance. - Evaluate
and analyze potential business opportunities and investments. -
Support the development of key performance indicators (KPIs) and
metrics to track business performance. - Identify and mitigate
