Job Description:
At UniFirst Corporation, a leader in the Uniform Rental and
Facility Services Industry, we are seeking an experienced and
dynamic Route Service Supervisor to oversee our route service team.
This role is pivotal in ensuring that our service delivery meets
the high standards that our diverse clientele expects. The
successful candidate will manage daily operations, drive team
performance, and ensure customer satisfaction across all assigned
routes, supporting our mission to help businesses of all sizes with
their workplace uniforms and protective work wear clothing needs.
Lead, develop, and supervise a team of Route Service
Representatives to ensure timely and accurate delivery and pickups
from customer locations. Manage scheduling, routing, and tracking
of the fleet to maximize efficiency and customer service. Perform
regular audits and ride-alongs to ensure compliance with safety
standards and operational protocols. Resolve customer complaints
and service issues promptly, maintaining high standards of customer
relations. Train new employees in job duties, safety protocols, and
company policies. Review and analyze service reports to identify
trends, areas for improvement, and potential business
opportunities. Work closely with other company departments to
enhance service delivery, customer satisfaction, and operational
efficiency. Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills Ability to strategize and
solve problems effectively Strong organizational skills and
attention to detail Proficient in route management software and
technology In-depth knowledge of the uniform rental and facility
services industry Medical Insurance Life Insurance 401k
Certification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or similar is
a plus. Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
