Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. A full-time Behavior
Specialist role is available at an elementary school in New
Britain, CT, specializing in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). This
contract position spans the current school year (CSY) and requires
onsite presence. The successful candidate will work closely with
elementary students, providing expert behavioral analysis and
intervention services to support positive educational outcomes. Key
Responsibilities: Implement behavior assessment and intervention
plans tailored to individual students. Collaborate with educators,
parents, and related service providers to develop and monitor
behavior support strategies. Collect and analyze data to measure
progress and adjust interventions as necessary. Provide training
and guidance to school staff on behavior management techniques.
Ensure compliance with district and state regulations related to
behavior services. Qualifications: Masters degree in Applied
Behavior Analysis or a closely related field from an accredited
institution. Active BCBA certification in Connecticut, verified by
the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). Experience working
with elementary-aged students preferred. Strong communication and
collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams.
