As a key member of Ford Industrial System, Information Technology
Group within our Enterprise Technology Organization, you'll play a
critical role in shaping the future of Ford's Product Creation &
Virtual Manufacturing Processes and associated technologies.
Ford's Product Creation and Virtual Manufacturing Processes and
associated technologies are positioned as key enablers to sustain
and enhance the Company's leading competitive position in the
automotive industry. As the Product Manager, you will be part of
the Industrial System - IT, Bill of Material Platform, and
Integrations PDO team and will be responsible for managing and
driving strategy projects and associated workstreams using Agile
practices.

What you'll be able to do:
Facilitate the agile development process.
Ensure agile principles and practices are followed.
Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and
requirements.
Create and maintain project plans and timelines.
Coordinate and lead agile meetings, such as daily stand-ups, sprint
planning, and retrospectives.
Manage and prioritize the product backlog.
Monitor project progress and identify and address any obstacles or
risks.
Foster a culture of collaboration, communication, and continuous
improvement within the team.
Provide leadership and guidance to team members.
Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and stakeholder
expectations
The minimum requirements we seek:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering,
Computer Engineering, or related field, or a combination of
education and equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in program management and/or project
management on medium to large-scale projects
3+ years using Agile practices and project management tools like
Rally, Jira, SharePoint, Smartsheet, or any others.
Our preferred requirements:
Advanced Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer
Engineering, or a related field
Skilled in the core project and program management competencies
where you have been accountable for the successful planning,
execution, and closure of assigned projects.
Experience in managing customers, global teams, and other
stakeholders and delivering the deliverables as per the
timeline.
Considerable experience tracking and managing project achievements,
goals, risks, and deadlines.
Solid understanding of software development principles, including
design patterns, software architecture, and testing
methodologies.
Good understanding of Agile Development Practices
Strong knowledge of Product Life Cycle Management and its
interaction with CAD and Bill of Materials systems (Teamcenter,
Catia,3DX)
Experience in RMI-based Bill of Materials application
development.
Provide Agile artifacts associated with application components.
Strong written and verbal communication skills by collaborating
with multi-functional teams to develop comprehensive product test
plans, solve issues, etc. in a fast-paced, agile environment.
