Job Title: Commercial Lines Middle Market Account Manager
(REMOTE to New England Only)
About the Role: Our client a growing independent agency is seeking
a dedicated Commercial Lines Middle Market Account Manager to
oversee a portfolio of middle-market clients. This hybrid role
offers a mix of remote and in-office work, providing flexibility
while delivering high-quality service and customized insurance
solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of middle-market commercial clients
- Write and service new business while maintaining and renewing
existing accounts.
- Conduct policy reviews, recommend coverage options, and handle
renewals, endorsements, and policy modifications.
- Resolve complex client issues and provide expert advice on
commercial policies, including property, liability, and workers'
compensation.
- Mentor and support a small team, ensuring efficient operations
and a high standard of client service.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and
underwriters, supporting long-term retention and growth.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in commercial lines account
management, preferably in middle-market insurance.
- Demonstrated success in managing client accounts, writing new
business, and leading or mentoring team members.
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, with an
emphasis on contracting and real estate clients.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving
skills.
- Proficiency in insurance software (EPIC required) and policy
management systems; able to thrive in a hybrid/remote work
environment
Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary range of $75,000 - $85,000, with potential for
performance-based bonuses.
