Job Description:
A busy hospital in Phenix City, AL is seeking a CRNA for locum
tenens coverage on an ongoing basis. This no-call position offers
flexible shift options, including 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts, with a
preference for 10s or a mix of shifts. The facility performs
primarily spinals (mostly by CRNAs) and offers potential for
regional anesthesia. The case mix is approximately 90% orthopedics
and 10% general surgery, with supervision covering 6-7 rooms and
one MD on site daily. Shift is day hours, with variable patient
load and PPD. Supervision is required, with no call duties, and
board certification is necessary. No prescriptive authority or
government work is involved. Assignment duration is ongoing, with a
focus on OR cases.
