The RN ensures patient safety, supports recovery, and maintains accurate clinical documentation in accordance with facility policies and state regulations. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing evaluations Develop, implement, and update individualized nursing care plans Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed Monitor patient conditions and recognize changes requiring intervention Provide patient education and support to patients and families Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant patient documentation Ensure adherence to infection control, safety, and quality standards Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate interventions Supervise and delegate tasks to LPNs and nursing assistants as appropriate Requirements & Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state (must be current and in good standing) Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN) BLS certification (AHA) required Ability to work assigned shifts, including weekends and holidays if needed Strong clinical judgment, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Must meet all facility onboarding, compliance, and background requirements Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in acute care, long-term care, behavioral health, or specialty area (depending on unit) Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or specialty-specific credentials Travel or contract nursing experience Physical & Work Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods Ability to lift, reposition, and assist patients safely Ability to respond quickly in emergency situations Apply now to start your next travel adventure!
