A prestigious academic medical center in Burlington, MA, is seeking a Gastroenterology Hepatologist to its Division of Gastroenterology due to growth. This is a nationally recognized program with a collaborative, academic environment. Practice and Position Highlights: The division is comprised of 23 physicians and 9 advanced practice providers, committed to providing compassionate, high-quality, patient-focused care. Providers see approximately 20,000 outpatients annually for a wide variety of GI and liver-related problems, including regionally recognized care in inflammatory bowel disease, hepatology, nutrition, biliary tract disorders, pancreatic disease, colon cancer, and gastrointestinal motility disorders. This hospital and medical center is home to one of the leading Liver Transplant Programs in the country. Provide comprehensive medical care to patients with liver disease, including pre- and post-liver transplant care. Participate in both inpatient and outpatient care, including diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy. Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to innovation, teaching, and research. Full-time schedule: Monday–Friday, with inpatient coverage, outpatient clinic, and endoscopy. Call coverage: 3 weekends per year and 1 night per month. Focus on General Hepatology with opportunities to participate in the Liver Transplant Program.
