In this role, the Assistant will support physical therapists in providing therapies and treatments that improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities of patients suffering from injuries or disease. Working directly with patients, the Assistant helps to maintain, restore, and improve mobility and increase patient wellbeing in line with our mission to provide top-tier senior care. Aid physical therapists in the execution of patient care plans, ensuring the therapeutic precision and patient comfort. Record patient responses and progress, and report the details to the physical therapist. Help patients perform specific exercises as part of the plan of care. Prepare equipment and treatment areas for use by physical therapists. Educate patients and family members on treatments and activities in the facility and at home. Participate in clinical documentation and maintain accurate records. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Strong organizational and observational skills. Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and moving patients. Adaptability and resilience in various clinical situations. Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance Valid Physical Therapy Assistant state license. CPR certified.
