Locum Tenens Opportunity: Emergency Medicine Physician Near Holderness, NH We are seeking a skilled Emergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens coverage near Holderness, NH. Job Details: Profession: Physician Specialty: Emergency Medicine Rate Type: Hourly Emergency/Temp Privileges: Yes Shift Type: Varied On Call Requirements: None Shift Description: 12-hour shifts currently Transitioning to 24-hour shifts by mid-July 8-10 shifts needed in the second half of July 10-12 shifts needed in August Must be open to both day and night shifts Facility Details: Emergency Department: 12 beds Annual Patient Visits: Approximately 10,500 Telehealth Services: TeleNeuro, TelePsych, TeleICN, and TeleEmergency 24/7 Support: In-house respiratory therapists CT/X-ray available with real-time reads by radiologists MRI and formal ultrasound available on weekdays Coverage: Primarily single coverage 12-hour shifts Second provider swing shifts on some days Optional Opportunities: Potential for academic affiliation and/or partial administrative role if interested Overtime Policy: OT is not approved based on a 40-hour week due to 24-hour scheduling Schedule Transition: Mid-July: 1/3 of shifts will be 24 hours, remaining shifts will be 12 hours By September 1st: 50% of shifts will be 24 hours Requirements: Board Certification: Emergency Medicine residency trained ABEM C/E Emergency Medicine Physician Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS License: Active New Hampshire license Job ID: j-227438 This role offers an excellent opportunity to work in a well-equipped emergency department with access to comprehensive telehealth services and 24/7 support from in-house respiratory therapists and radiologists.
