We seek a dedicated X-Ray Technologist to support our mission of delivering community-focused healthcare and enhancing patient wellness. In this role, you will operate X-ray equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures, contributing to the accurate diagnosis and treatment planning for our patients. This position requires technical proficiency, a patient-centered approach, and adherence to safety and regulatory standards. Operate and maintain X-ray equipment to perform diagnostic exams Adjust equipment settings based on patient needs and prescribed protocols to obtain the best diagnostic images Ensure compliance with health and safety standards to protect patients and staff Prepare patients for radiologic procedures by explaining processes, positioning patients correctly and efficiently Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to evaluate images and determine the necessity of further tests Maintain accurate patient records and radiographic logs Participate in quality control procedures to ensure high-quality diagnostic images Proficiency with various types of X-ray imaging equipment Strong understanding of radiation safety and protection practices Excellent patient management skills to ease patient anxiety Detail-oriented with strong technical and analytical skills Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced medical environment Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Certified and registered as a Radiologic Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Valid state license as required in Vermont
