In this role, you will work directly under the supervision of our licensed occupational therapists, assisting patients in their therapeutic journey to regain, develop, and build skills that are important for independent functioning, health, and well-being. Assist in the implementation of treatment plans designed by the occupational therapist to improve patients' function and independence. Help patients use therapeutic equipment and exercise protocols. Document patient progress and communicate with healthcare team members. Maintain treatment areas and equipment. Educate patients and families about home programs and continuous care. Strong interpersonal communication skills Ability to follow detailed instructions Proficient in using therapeutic equipment and technology Basic patient care and rehabilitation knowledge Capability to work both independently and as part of a team Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT) CPR certification
