About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing

or 12 Hour AM-PM Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience:
Minimum years of experience required. License: Valid nursing
license required. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required. Must-Have:
- Experience with arterial lines - Experience with
ventriculostomies - Experience with subdural drains - Experience
with lumbar drains - Experience with hemodynamic monitoring -
Experience with invasive blood pressure monitoring through arterial
lines - Experience with Bi-PAP and C-PAP - Experience with
tracheostomy care - Experience with low-dose pressors, vasoactive
medications, and inotropes - Experience with Mannitol and 3% saline
solutions - Experience with complex wound management - Experience
with lines, tubes, and drains for post-surgical patients
Description: 3 Registered Nurses needed for an ASAP start. The unit
has 10 progressive care beds. The focus includes medical conditions
such as neuromuscular disorders and meningitis. The unit also
handles primary stroke center cases, traumatic brain injuries, and
spinal cord injuries. Surgical cases include tumor resections for
brain and spine, spinal surgery, and head and neck cancer. Normal
Pressure Hydrocephalus trials with lumbar drains are part of the
care provided. Candidates must be skilled in caring for patients
with complex medical needs. On-call responsibilities are required.
