Job Description:
Dartmouth Health is looking for a neurohospitalist to join our
growing Department of Neurology. This position is based at
Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center (DHMC) located in Lebanon, NH.
DHMC is New Hampshire’s only Level I trauma center and serves over
2 million people throughout northern New England. Our flagship
academic medical center is a 400 bed tertiary and quaternary care
facility and was ranked among America’s top 100 hospitals for 2025
by Becker’s Hospital Review. Overview: - 7 on/ 7 off schedule -
Collaborate with resident-led teams and multidisciplinary
specialists to optimize patient care and outcomes - Academic
appointment commensurate with experience - Opportunities for
research and QI initiatives - Position can be either 100%
neurohospitalist or split between the neurohospitalist and stroke
teams. Requirements: - Completion of an ACGME-accredited neurology
residency - Board certification/eligibility in neurology; open to
additional sub-specialty certification - Ability to obtain/maintain
New Hampshire medical license - Excellent communication,
interpersonal, and clinical skills - Passion for educating patients
and families as well as medical students, residents, and fellows
