American Heart Association BLS; Active American Heart Association
ACLS Must-Have: Must be willing to float between units as needed;
Must have own vehicle Description: This role involves combining
medical-surgical nursing with intensive rehabilitation. The focus
is on patients recovering from surgery, serious illness, or injury.
The goal is to restore function and independence through therapies
and specialized care. You will coordinate total nursing care for
patients. Participation in patient and family teaching is
essential. Leadership is demonstrated by working cooperatively with
team personnel. Maintaining professional nursing practice standards
is a key responsibility. The nurse to patient ratio is 1 to 4 or 5.
The average daily patient census is 22. Requested time off must be
verified during submission. Requests for time off after submission
will not be approved. Local travelers are not eligible for this
position due to the community's location. Candidates must have
their own transportation as public transport is not available. A
minimum of 5 days of requested time off is acceptable. All
scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission. This
position may require working every other weekend and holidays if
needed. Please note the attendance policy regarding call-offs will
be enforced. After 3 call-offs, the contract may be subject to
