Job Summary and Qualifications The Certified Surgical Technologist assists surgeons, anesthetist and registered nurses in the delivery of perioperative care to patients. Under the direction of the registered nurse, acts as a primary scrub person handling surgical instruments, equipment and supplies necessary during a procedure. Essential Functions: - Provide technical assistance during surgical procedures. - Prepare patients and maintain the operating room environment. - Manage equipment and supplies. - Oversee surgical technician assignments and provide guidance. - Ensure adherence to OR standards and regulations. - Identify and act on process improvement opportunities. - Performs all other duties as assigned.
