Tik Tok . Job Description As a Factory of the Future and Lab of the
Future Transformation Lead, you'd be responsible for orchestrating
the integration of advanced technologies like automation, IoT, and
AI into the manufacturing and laboratory processes. Your role
involves strategic planning, project management, and ensuring a
smooth transition to a more efficient and technologically advanced
factory environment. The Factory of the Future and Lab of the
Future Transformation Lead is responsible for developing the vision
and leading the execution of the FotF and LotF transformation
through the implementation of technologies throughout the AbbVie
manufacturing and laboratory sites worldwide. This key strategic
role will work closely with Manufacturing VPs, Quality VPs and
Manufacturing site leaders to ensure a cohesive strategy
development and implementation plan. Provide leadership and build
the team to lead the continuous evolution of next generation
technologies to define and develop standards, best practices,
governance, application of Lean principles, and technical expertise
in an organized manner that is secure, scalable, and sustainable.
FotF and LotF will include elements of digital, automation,
robotics, data acquisition, internet of things, and artificial
intelligence to accelerate growth and maintain/gain a competitive
advantage and support the MEC and Quality strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities: Development of teams in the continuous
improvement of Industry 4.0 initiatives; build, deploy, and upgrade
digital technologies best practices. Responsible for Lighthouse use
case implementations and value capture. Demonstrated ability to
establish, implement, and sustain a FotF team. Networking roadmap
and supporting LRP Governance/alignment with Site Directors and
VPs. Strong financial aptitude with proven ability to perform
robust cost/benefit analyses. Strong strategic planning, project
management, and to ensure a smooth transition to a more efficient
and technologically advanced factory environment. Develop and
implement strategies for integrating cutting-edge technologies,
fostering a culture of innovation, collaborating with
cross-functional teams, and ensuring the overall success of the
factory's digital transformation journey. Pivotal in driving
efficiency, sustainability, and competitiveness through the
adoption of Industry 4.0 principles. Oversee the implementation of
IoT solutions, collaborating with stakeholders to align IoT
initiatives with business objectives, and ensuring a secure and
scalable IoT ecosystem. Crucial leadership in leveraging IoT to
enhance operational efficiency, data-driven decision-making, and
overall business innovation. Strong verbal and written
communication skills, enabling the ability to influence decisions
based on sound rationale. Strong computer skills, including
effective use of email and virtual meeting systems for remote
communication and organization purposes. Strong project management
skills, including effective meeting and workshop facilitation
skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving solving, and judgment
skills. Proven interpersonal skills and leadership capability. Must
be able to effectively communicate across the organization, from
the manufacturing floor to senior leadership. Demonstrated ability
to drive transversal change via influence without authority.
Conduct assessments of corporate culture, performance, and change
readiness while leading one or more teams to build and implement
digital, data visualizations of our work products for customers.
Define prospects for future learning that will allow the
application of digital transformational technologies. Inform
corporate audiences about concepts related to digital enablement.
Understand solutions that will take these criteria into account by
converting business needs into the corresponding technical
requirements. Recognize the full scope of the clients technical
environment. Showcase the interpretation and use of analytics and
models to a business problem. As needed, connect digital
transformation activities with other work streams and make sure
they adhere to the projects overall timeframe and major milestones.
Manage the entire work plan for the digital transition, provide
weekly status reports, locate problems and control risks. Establish
and maintain communication with key customer decision-makers; lead
and coordinate pursuit Must be able to read and understand the most
recent technical advancements (such as big data, artificial
intelligence and machine learning, the internet of things, and
cyber security) and connect them to the organizations actual
processes, cultural models, and infrastructures. The position will
coordinate activities to drive the implementation of Smart Factory
technology use cases to deliver savings and improved performance on
an annual basis. These projects are expected to drive value through
increased asset utilization, improving OEE, optimizing labor,
improving quality, reducing costs, and improving customer
satisfaction. Qualifications A bachelors degree in engineering,
mathematics, finance, supply chain, or a closely related discipline
is desired. Preferrable with a masters degree in business
administration, logistics, materials, or supply chain Management. A
Six Sigma green belt or black belt, or lean leader certification
(or equivalent) is desirable. Progressive experience leading
operations strategy, roadmaps, and digital transformation of global
manufacturing sites (30 preferred) Demonstrated ability to develop
teams in the continuous improvement of Industry 4.0 initiatives;
build, deploy, and upgrade digital technologies best practices.
