Specialist/Technical Writer for QMS business processes Quality
Document Specialist/Technical Writer for business processes to join
our Quality team as we build an effectively sized quality
management system (QMS) to give us the foundation for continual
improvement of our products and processes allowing us to scale,
meet the needs of our business, and the changing needs of our
customers. Every day, you will work with process owners across the
business to assist them in building clearly written process
documentation in accordance with both organizational needs and ISO
9001 requirements. This activity will include maintaining the QMS
system and changes to the QMS documents. Process documentation is
the practice of recording and detailing the steps, workflows, and
procedures involved in completing a task or business process. It is
a reference guide to ensure consistency, efficiency, and
standardization across an organization. Responsibilities: ? Create
business process documentation (flow charts, processes, procedures,
work instructions, template) through collaboration with process
owners and SMEs. This may include Gather existing material, in
various formats, and re-create clear and concise process
documentation. ? Coordinate meetings and information gathering
sessions with Process owners and SMES ? Write clear, compelling,
and error-free content. ? Write, edit, and proofread documents,
simplifying complex information into accessible formats for the
correct audiences. ? Leverage superior writing abilities, attention
to detail, research skills to develop and finalize accurate,
quality deliverables in a timely manner. ? Manage and improve the
document library structure to enhance dependencies, searchability,
control, and usability. ? Manage multiple projects simultaneously
without impacting quality, delivery, or timelines. ? Ensure
documentation satisfies ISO 9001 requirements. ? Maintain proper
documentation version controls ? Create and process document
changes ? Archive and distribute QMS documents Desired skills: ? 10
years or more of previous experience in a similar role, creating
and updating business processes in dynamic companies, in an effort
to build out effective quality systems. ? Must be able to write
clear, compelling, and error-free content using information
gathered from verbal input as well as existing documentation. ?
Must have expertise in writing, editing, and proofreading
documents, simplifying complex information into accessible formats
for the correct audiences. ? Prior experience in Project Management
and Document Control is preferred ? Strong organizational skills
and time management is required ? Experience with ERP (Salesforce,
Oracle, etc.) ? Experience with Arena PLM and Jira ? Experience
using Google office tools (Google docs, Google Sheets, Google
Slides), flowchart software (Lucid Chart) ? Experience working in
an ISO 9001 or similar environment. ? Paligo experience is a plus.
