Job Description:

TransForce is seeking a dedicated CDL A Yard Jockey/Shuttle Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the movement and parking of trailers in our facility yards as well as Shuttle services between our operational sites. This role is crucial in ensuring that our fleet operations run smoothly and efficiently, supporting our commitment to deliver excellent service to our clients. You will operate under the highest safety standards while contributing to the timely execution of transport plans. Safely move trailers to different locations within the facility yard. Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment and vehicles to ensure functionality. Drive shuttles between various local sites to facilitate operations. Maintain communication with dispatch and management to ensure timely task completion. Adhere to all safety guidelines and local traffic laws. Proficient in driving heavy vehicles Ability to operate hydraulic lifting gear Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication abilities Basic maintenance knowledge Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance 401k Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Clean driving record
