successful candidate will build the Business Development function
which will be a vital part of helping to achieve the Oncologie,
Inc. vision of bringing a new approach towards understanding the
biology of the tumor microenvironment with novel, targeted
treatments to address those biologies, and matching that with the
right patients to dramatically improve outcomes. We are seeking

The Head, Business Development (BD) and Alliance Management will
lead all business development initiatives, as well as managing
existing partnerships, and leads business analytics.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Business Development: In partnership with senior leadership,
will establish the business development strategy and objectives as
Lead scouting and outreach for external partnering opportunities
aligned with the BD strategy.
In collaboration with company leadership, will drive the
evaluation of new partnering opportunities.
Lead negotiations for new partnering collaborations.
Lead due diligence process internally in collaboration with
cross-functional teams, as well as externally with potential
Assess potential of current assets to maximize value.
Assess potential new revenue streams
Identify and establish relationships generally within the
industry as well as with potential partners.
Will lead commercial assessment efforts and ensure that the
company’s development activities are aligned with commercial

Business Analytics Responsible for competitive intelligence,
market evaluation and other business-related analysis to support
senior management decision making.
Perform commercial forecasts, financial analysis for all
existing projects as well as new partnering opportunities.
Alliance Management: Serve as point-of-contact for Oncologie’s
partnerships that are formed through new business development
Oversee the proper implementation of all partnering agreements,
and guide cross-company teams in that task.
Initiate amendments and changes to existing partnerships, if

This is an office-based position that will require travel up to
Candidate must have 5-10 years of experience in business
development at a biotech/pharma company. Prior experience at a
consulting firm, venture fund or similar position is a plus. Must
have a scientific background and experience in evaluating
pharmaceutical projects. Demonstrated ability to source, negotiate
and close partnership transactions.
Relevant academic degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related
pharmaceutical science is required. An advanced degree (e.g., MSc,
MD, MPH, PharmD or PhD) is strongly preferred.
Track record of closing pharma/biotech licensing transactions.
Experience in deal-making around biomarkers and precision medicine
are an advantage.
Skilled at building financial models to evaluate
Familiarity with multiple databases for the biotech industry, an
ability to effectively search information, analyze and communicate
Strong communicator and good written/verbal skills in English.
Strong business development network is highly preferable.
