The role will be based in the U.S. in either the Greater Boston, Metro NYC or the Greater Philadelphia area.

We are currently searching for a Senior Manager for Contract Development to join our Market Access team that will collaboratively work with the Strategic and Corporate Accounts teams to facilitate the negotiation, execution and management of contracts covering product discounts, administrative fees, and service fees for all Covis brands across a range of market segments. You will also provide support, as needed, to other teams and functions such as Government Pricing, pre- and post-deal analysis, accruals, and Gross-to-Net calculations.

Reporting to the Market Access Director of Pricing, Reimbursement and Access you will nurture strong working relationships with colleagues in Strategic Accounts, Corporate Accounts, Legal, Pricing & Reimbursement, Government Pricing, and other teams to provide world-class customer service. You will contribute to the development and refinement of Covis' contracting process, including contract templates, SOPs, etc. You will provide notices re: contract expirations and maintain accurate record-keeping (e.g., in-process contracting activity and summaries of executed agreements). You will review select wholesaler/distributor invoices for accuracy; identify discrepancies and arrange timely payment. You will work with Covis third party logistics providers (3PLs) to establish contract numbers for product discount agreements. Lastly, you will collaborate and provide support in the following areas as needed: rebate, chargeback, and fee payment activities; Government Pricing calculations (e.g., data, Best Price determination, etc.); Gross-to-Net calculations (e.g., data, channel insights, contract updates, etc.); Creation of Accruals (e.g., data, contract updates, customer insight, field intelligence, etc.); Pre-deal Evaluation (e.g., data, customer insight, field intelligence, etc.); Post-deal Evaluation (e.g., healthcare trends, data, customer insight, field intelligence, etc.); and Customer price discrepancies (may involve working with 3PL, wholesalers/distributors and/or members of the Trade team).


  • Bachelor's degree and previous work experience in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry working on agreements between pharmaceutical manufacturers and GPOs, /Hospitals (PBM/MCO experience is a plus)
  • Prior experience working in or directly with Market Access/Managed Markets/Managed Care teams.
  • Prior exposure to agreements in some or all the following areas: Buy and Bill, Specialty Pharmacy, Specialty Distribution, government programs (e.g., Medicaid, 340b, etc.), traditional distribution channels, data, services.
  • Ability to recognize and interpret business issues/opportunities and recommend solutions through analysis and clear, concise communication.
  • High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to manage multiple assignments, have good judgment, and prioritize projects and time effectively.
  • Proven track record of working collaboratively and providing excellent customer service.
