Jr. Planar Sensor Assembler - Second Shift

The Assembler, Planar Sensor Jr., on Nova's second shift is
responsible for processing various, organic-based biosensors for
both core and OEM analyzers. This position requires a high level of
attention to detail throughout all aspects of the assembly process.
This person will be working under a microscope for periods of time
to inspect product to ensure high product yields. This person must
have the ability to work with various epoxies, solvents and
chemicals as required during assembly. Must be able to setup and
operate all process equipment, including: auto dispensers,
ultrasonic bath and laser coders. Must have the ability to
understand assembly and test procedures, drawings, written
documents and verbal instructions. Ability to provide feedback to
management and engineering on issues.
- High School diploma with at least 2 years assembly experience
- Must have a working knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and
Continuous Improvement principles.
- Must possess good communication skills, general computer
knowledge, and a strong command of the English language.
- Hours: Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM.
